Hillside Golf Club has hosted many amateur and professional tournaments in it’s illustrious history and was recently selected by the DP World Tour to stage the 2022 Cazoo Classic following the hugely successful 2019 British Masters. The R&A have been a regular visitor to the Links with The Amateur and Ladies Amateur Championships being staged here as well as Final Qualifying for The Open on numerous occasions.
Hesketh is the oldest golf club in Southport, established in 1885. The club is set to host Regional Qualifying for the Open Championship in 2023 through 2026.

Tee Times & Groupings
Hillside Golf Club 1st tee time is from 9.30am
Hesketh Golf Club 1st tee time is from: 9.00am
Players who book in groups will be drawn out together on the tee sheet and will therefore play together.
Tee times will be sent out no later than one week before the event.

There will be individual prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place
NTP: There will be two Nearest the Pin prizes each day
Event Format
36 hole combined stableford event – open to all Male and Female golfers.
we would require £50 per person non refundable deposit to secure your place and the remaining balance paid in full 8 weeks prior to the event date.

A true championship links, which was overhauled in the 1960’s by renowned architect Fred Hawtree, creating the spectacular back nine we see today.
More recently, Martin Ebert undertook a full review of the links in 2018 and three full phases of work (2019-21) have greatly elevated the front nine holes. The layout of the course is balanced in two halves with the opening holes heading along flatter ground beside the railway line. The much improved nine holes of the opening half whet the appetite for the drama that awaits on second nine. Here you will find valleyed corridors through some of the highest and wildest dunes found anywhere. Each hole occupying its own unique site creating a wonderful sense of isolation.
