How it works…
The winner who accumulates the most points over the 2025 season will win a place on our 2026 Trip to Somabay Egypt and it will include the following:
2025 Order of Merit Winners Prize:

- 3 x rounds of Championship Golf
- Boat Golf (floating green & snorkelling)

How the Order of Merit points system will be awarded for each Proper Golf Series event.

2nd -175 points

11th – 50 points
12th – 40 points

Also for every golfer playing they will automatically get 5 bonus points for participation.

In the mid 1990’s Gary Player was approached to design a course on the Somabay Resort and he duly delivered a truly world class layout which he referred to as the Pebble Beach of Africa based on its proximity to the Red Sea. The course plays through the desert around the resort with no less than 6 holes positioned on the dramatic Red Sea coastline. Tees, fairways and greens provide a playing oasis as the course meanders around the resorts with constant, breath-taking views of the Red Sea all with stunning mountains as a backdrop.
Also at Somabay golf resort is a beautiful par 3 course which can be played under the floodlights to make golf that little bit more fun – Night Golf !!!
