The Proper Golf Series heads back to Pontefract & District Golf Club once again as this course just gets better & better every year. Excellent tree lined fairways & fast rolling greens you will sure enjoy your day here at Pontefract and did I mention its exceptional value for money.
The Club was first established in 1904 when the founder members created a nine hole course on land belonging to the local park. In the early 1920’s a completely new course was laid out on adjourning land, leased from the Duchy of Lancaster. A decade later, the course was extended from nine to 18 holes based on a layout drawn by Dr Alastair McKenzie, the famous designer of Augusta, who was born locally.

Tee Times & Groupings
Tee times are from 9.30am – 11.20am
Men: White tees / Ladies: Red tees
Players who book in groups will be drawn out together on the tee sheet and will therefore play together.
Event Format
18 Hole Individual Stableford – 95% Handicap allowance
